Mr. Whitley, an old and respected citizen who lived near New Ross, died on Friday last, aged 70 years. He was buried on Saturday and was followed to his grave by one of the largest funeral processions ever seen in that part of the country. The Grangers were out en mass, in full regalia, some 500. It is estimated that there were in all over 1,000 persons in attendance at the funeral.—Ladoga Herald
